
WILLIAMSBURG, Virginia – The New Jersey City University men’s golf team completed the second round of “The Ruckus” event on Sunday, March 20 at Williamsburg National Golf Course. The Gothic Knights finally finished in 12th place after today’s 18 holes. Staying ahead for the Gothic Knights, rookie Evan Stoker (Clinton, NJ/Voorhees) ranked 16th overall over the weekend after shooting 78s both days.
First-year student Tamuda Kaseke (Harare, Zimbabwe/St. John’s College) remained NJCU’s second-leading scorer, ranking 42nd with a final 167 after shooting an 81 in the second round. Second year Taj Piontkowski (Califon, NJ/Voorhees) shot a 94 in the second round on Sunday, immediately followed by the senior Josh Marseille (Linden, NJ/The Wardlaw+Hartridge School) who shot an 85 and finished with 184. Senior Zachary Ware (Fort Lee, NJ/Bergen Community College) also came in at 94 in the second round, finishing with 192.

The Gothic Knights will travel to Lakewood, NJ to compete in the Arcadia University Spring Launch Classic on Friday and Saturday April 1-2. Tee time for the first round is 12:00 noon at Eagle Ridge Golf Course.
