Ocean State Job Lot partners with customers, vendors and relief organizations to deliver supplies to Ukraine

(NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI) — Ocean State Jobs Bundleit’s The “Relief for Ukraine” program has so far resulted in the donation of six truckloads of health and hygiene products, nutritious food and warm clothing, as well as frontline medical supplies to the efforts of the Ukrainian refugees. Desperately needed medical supplies were provided in partnership with Partners for World Health, based in Portland, ME.
The “Relief for Ukraine” program, which started on March 1, is held in each of the discount retailer’s 147 stores in the northeast and asks customers to make cash donations to support Ukrainian refugee families who were forced from their homes during the Russian invasion.
Additional supplies were distributed through OSJL’s partnership with Saint Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Boston, MA, and additional funding was provided to the Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation by the New England Patriots and the Kraft Family Foundation.
OSJL tractor-trailers transport supplies to Port Handy, NJ, where they are airlifted to Poland and then distributed throughout Ukraine by the company’s European partners, including Razom, International Charitable Foundation, among others.

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing customers, our business partners here in the United States, as well as our distribution partners in Ukraine, we were able to get these supplies to those suffering overseas quickly and efficiently.
