And in January, the company launched Ship2Me by Giant, giving customers access to an expanded assortment beyond traditional grocery categories delivered directly to their homes.
“By providing access to complementary products not traditionally found in-store, we are adding endless aisle shopping options for today’s busy families, all with the convenience of being delivered right to your door,” said John Ruane, senior vice president, omnichannel merchandising, when the program was introduced.
In addition to ordering groceries and household staples for pickup or delivery through Giant Direct, Ship2Me offers more choices in categories like health and beauty, home decor, and other household items. .
Instead of picking up Ship2Me items at the store or having them delivered at a scheduled date and time, these items are shipped directly to customers by Ship2Me sellers.
The Giant Company also partners with Instacart to provide Giant Instant Delivery and Martin’s Instant Delivery which delivers essential grocery items in as little as 30 minutes.
The company has more than 175 pickup locations and customers in 90% of the company’s footprint have access to online grocery ordering and delivery services.
